Helping families plan ahead is more than my profession—it’s a calling that comes from both my personal experiences and my passion for serving others. Every day, I have the privilege of sitting with families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. I’ve seen firsthand the emotional and financial stress that unexpected funeral decisions can place on loved ones. In those moments, families are often asked to make important decisions while grieving, and I believe no one should have to carry that burden alone. My passion for funeral preplanning became even more personal after the loss of my aunt. She passed away without any end-of-life plans in place. There were no written wishes, no arrangements made, and no guidance for the family. In the midst of grief, everyone struggled to determine what she would have wanted. As time passed, no service was ever held, no gathering took place, and her life was never formally celebrated. To this day, that experience stays with me because every life deserves to be remembered, honored, and celebrated in a meaningful way. That loss reinforced something I already knew: planning ahead is one of the greatest gifts we can leave our families. It provides clarity during difficult times, ensures our wishes are known, and allows those we love to focus on healing rather than making rushed decisions. My goal is to guide families with compassion, honesty, and care. Whether you are simply gathering information, exploring your options, or ready to make arrangements, I want you to feel comfortable, supported, and heard every step of the way. Together, we can create a plan that reflects your values, protects your loved ones, and provides peace of mind for the future. As a daughter of aging parents, a mom of four children, and a member of this community, I understand how important family is. That's why I am committed to helping individuals and families make informed decisions today that will benefit those they love tomorrow. I would be honored to help you begin that conversation. After all, planning ahead isn't really about preparing for death—it's about caring for the people you love most.
