Kelly's Story
At an early age, I began to volunteer at a nursing home with my elderly neighbor and discovered a passion for helping others and a desire to make the world a better place. I'm originally from Cedarburg, WI, and graduated from Cedarburg High School in 1995. Soon after, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Media Studies, and Spanish from St. Norbert College. In 2015, I received my Project Management and Leadership Professional certifications from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
After a successful career in sales and marketing, I worked as a Family Service Counselor at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Milwaukee, WI before joining the staff at Myrhum-Patten and Twohig Funeral Homes as a licensed and certified prearrangement specialist and family services coordinator. I'm passionate and dedicated to servicing families in preplanning for their futures and enjoy networking and educating the community on the importance of creating a healing funeral.
In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, volunteering, reading, and writing.
