Kelsie's Story
From a young age, I had a heart for helping people. My interest in the funeral industry developed after I attended my first funeral when I was nine years old. It was that experience which eventually led me to pursue a career as a pre-planning specialist and director’s assistant. As a pre-planning specialist, I have the honor to educate people on what funeral planning is and how they can benefit by making their arrangements ahead of time. Pre-planning gives people a voice for what happens to them once they pass away, leaving family members unburdened by thoughts of how their loved one wanted to be remembered, what their final wishes were, and how they are going to pay for it. As a Director’s Assistant, I get to see the difference it makes when a family has a plan to guide them on their way and help them arrange a service that is very special and unique to the wishes of their loved one. When I'm not helping folks pre-plan their services, I can be found playing maid, chef, chauffer, nurse and personal assistant to my two young children and my loving husband.
