My name is Shayla Sheets, and I am an Advanced Planning Specialist with a deep passion for helping individuals and families plan ahead with confidence and peace of mind. I specialize in preneed funeral planning and work one-on-one with families to help them make informed, meaningful decisions—providing clarity today while easing stress and uncertainty for loved ones in the future.
With over 16 years of experience in nursing home care, I have worked closely with residents and their families, providing both direct patient care and support on the business and administrative side of healthcare. This background has given me a unique understanding of the emotional, financial, and practical challenges families face during life’s most difficult moments.
Preneed planning allows families to document their wishes, explore options at their own pace, and protect loved ones both emotionally and financially. My approach is compassionate, respectful, and centered on guiding families with honesty, patience, and care.
I am a proud graduate of Ivy Tech Community College, where I earned my Associate’s Degree, and I continue to use the skills I’ve gained throughout my career to serve families and my community. Helping others isn’t just my profession—it’s my calling.
On a personal level, I am married, a mother of two, and a stepmother to one, which has strengthened my understanding of the importance of family, preparation, and protecting loved ones from unnecessary stress.
