I’ve spent 30+ years serving individuals and families in different capacities. Most recently, I helped Medicare eligible individuals understand their options, so they could make informed decisions on the plans that fit their needs the best. Then, a close friend of mine – a funeral home owner – asked me about becoming a Funeral Preplanning Specialist. I decided to take him up on the offer, and I’ve come to realize the importance of advance planning and helping families avoid the emotional stress of making tough decisions while they’re grieving and the financial strain of paying for the services chosen.
